My obsession with cars started at around 9 years old. By the time I was 10 and 11, I started getting into custom vans because a very impressionable older cousin bought himself a Bedford van with an almighty loud V8. After he gave me a bunch of American van magazines, I became hooked. I would draw endlessly, day and night, and after I recently discovered a whole bunch of my scrap books filled with drawings, I thought I would try to re-imagine these wild creations, and in keeping with the naivety and wonder of the originals.
