The Kid Van Project

My obsession with cars started at around 9 years old. By the time I was ten and eleven, I started getting into custom vans because an older cousin bought himself a Bedford van with an almighty loud V8. He was a highly inspirational figure to me and after he gave me a bunch of American van magazines, I became hooked. I would draw endlessly, day and night, and after I recently discovered a whole bunch of my scrap books of drawings, I thought one day I should try to re-imagine these drawings, but in keeping with the naivety and wonder of the originals. I would have been around 10 or 11 when I did the original drawings.
